La grande mostra di Yayoi Kusama all’Orto Botanico di New York

Ha inaugurato pochi giorni fa al giardino botanico di New York “KUSAMA: Cosmic Nature”, l’ultima, spettacolare e attesissima mostra di Yayoi Kusama.

Rinviata nel 2021 causa pandemia, la retrospettiva si snoda attraverso i 250 acri del New York Botanical Garden e comprende opere provenienti da varie fasi della carriera di Kusama, insieme a materiale d’archivio mai presentato prima.

Installazioni monumentali,  fiori coloratissimi, gigantesche zucche a pois e l’attesissima Infinity Mirrored – Illusion Inside the Heart – che sarà ospitata in una struttura apposita posizionata nel parco, compongono una mostra unica, un labirinto che esplora il legame dell’artista giapponese con il mondo della natura e che promette di immergerci nel mondo fantastico e visionario di Kusama.
